At Brain Tumour Support NZ, we’re on a mission to transform lives and create a world where no-one in Aotearoa New Zealand has to face the challenges of a brain tumour diagnosis alone. Our Vision is that people affected by brain tumours feel less afraid, less alone and more empowered.
Since our charity’s formation in 2019, we have been developing a range of information, education, support and advocacy services designed to improve the lives of brain tumour patients and their whānau. We are committed to growing our team to take the organisation to the next level.

Join Our Board as a Trustee
Are you looking for an opportunity to use your skills and experience to make a real difference? Brain Tumour Support NZ is seeking a passionate and committed Trustee to join our volunteer Board and help shape the future of our national charity.
This flexible, work-from-home role involves monthly online Board meetings and offers the chance to contribute to the strategic direction, governance and long-term sustainability of the organisation. Governance experience, particularly in the not-for-profit sector is welcomed. We're looking for someone with strong leadership, organisational and communication skills who shares our vision that no one affected by a brain tumour should face the journey alone.
As a Trustee, you'll work alongside a dedicated Board to provide oversight, ensure strong governance and support the continued growth and impact of Brain Tumour Support NZ. Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by brain tumours? Brain Tumour Support NZ is seeking a dedicated Trustee / Secretary to join our volunteer Board and help guide the future of our growing national charity.
Working remotely with monthly online Board meetings, this flexible volunteer role offers the opportunity to contribute your organisational, communication and administrative skills while supporting good governance. You'll work alongside a committed team of Trustees to help shape our strategic direction, ensure strong governance, maintain Board records and support the smooth running of the organisation. Previous governance experience is welcomed, we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to supporting New Zealanders living with a brain tumour and their whānau.
