May is recognised as Brain Tumour Awareness Month #BTAM

May is Brain Tumour Awareness Month. Around the world, people are participating in activities to raise awareness about brain tumours and raise much needed funds for research. The global brain tumour community have adopted grey as their theme colour (after 'grey matter', the neuronal cells in our brain). Using the hashtags #GoGreyInMay and #BTAM, throughout the month of May Brain Tumour Support NZ is promoting awareness by asking people to wear grey clothing, learn more about brain tumours, and hold or participate in awareness-raising events.
